Family & Friends CPR and First Aid Courses
Family & Friends CPR Class $30
This program teaches how to perform CPR in adults, children, or infants and how to help an adult, child, or infant who is choking. It is perfect for Family members, friends and members of the general community who want to learn CPR but do not need a course completion card. This program also can be a non-credentialed option for middle- and high-school students.
Family & Friends CPR Anytime Class $40
This self-directed course is a personal learning product that teaches lay people, in the comfort of their own homes, the core skills to perform Adult and Child CPR in just 22 minutes. CPR Anytime instructs the user in a “practice-while-watching” (PWW) format with the aid of a 22-minute instructional DVD, a personal, inflatable manikin with integrated adult/child compression clicker, and the American Heart Association Family and Friends CPR Student Book.
Family & Friends First Aid for Children Class $30
This program teaches how to manage illness and injuries in a child for the first few minutes until professional help arrives. It covers such topics as preventing injuries, recognizing and treating basic first aid emergencies, and relief of choking in infants and children. It is a perfect program for those caring for infants and children, such as family members, babysitters, and others providing in-home care, who want basic first aid information but who do not need a course completion credential.
